Style Guide

When Dell learned that their partner, Austin-based industrial design firm DesignEdge, had an in-house graphic design department, I was tapped to help create instructional graphics for a series of printers they were co-developing. Love them or hate them, consumer printers can be fairly complex devices, and cracking one open can be a daunting experience for someone unfamiliar with the process.
To address this, we designed a series of instructional labels and stickers that were applied directly inside the printers.

I worked with the industrial design team at Design Edge and the engineers at Dell to produce original instructional graphics for three separate Dell printer lines.
